Our small animal clinic is purpose-built to care for your pet! Our many features include:

In addition, the veterinarians at FMVC have a great working relationship with many area specialists, and regularly refer complicated medical or surgical cases to these other hospitals. We are always happy to consult with board certified experts to ensure the best care for your pet!

Wellness: We stress the importance of an annual physical examination for your pet! Thorough check-ups and preventative care can help detect and alleviate serious health problems. Our veterinarians can discuss your options for vaccinations, parasite control and nutrition.

Emergency services: Our doctors are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for your animal emergencies. Please call us at (970) 867-9477 if your animal is experiencing an emergency.

Surgery: Our surgical suite is equipped to provide a wide range of surgery including but not limited to spays and neuters, orthopedic procedures, foreign-body removal, and tumor biopsy and removal.

Anesthesia:  Our anesthesia protocols (including isoflurane gas anesthesia) are tailored to your pet’s specific health profile. Each patient is  monitored by a veterinary technician throughout the surgical and recovery period.

Radiology Services:  Our clinic is equipped with radiography and ultrasound to provide fast, accurate diagnoses of many conditions.

Dentistry:  Our veterinarians and technicians regularly provide dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery including some tumor removals.

Laboratory:  Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for fast, accurate serum chemistry, hematology, urinalysis and fecal analysis. We also regularly utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.

Permanent identification: We offer microchipping for security in your animal’s identification.

Pharmacy:  Our pharmacy is well stocked with medications, vitamins, flea and tick control products, and heartworm and internal parasite preventatives and treatments to meet the unique needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets, and can quickly and easily order in any items we don’t regularly stock.
