At Fort Morgan Veterinary Clinic, we know that dogs and cats are more than just pets. They are family members, farm companions, couch warmers, and road-trip partners that bring joy to everyday life. And when it comes to their health, having a local veterinary team you know and trust makes all the difference.
Our philosophy on care is simple: We believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to caring for your pets. Every dog and cat has a unique age, lifestyle, health history, and individual care needs.
We also think veterinary care should be dependable and personalized. From routine wellness visits and preventive care to unexpected illnesses and injuries, we’re here to help your pet receive the care they deserve through it all. Our goal is to provide pet parents with options and create personalized care plans for each pet, helping families make informed decisions with confidence.
We’re proud to provide reliable, affordable care for dogs and cats throughout Fort Morgan, Wiggins, Sterling, Brush, and the surrounding communities.
In August 2025, we moved into our newly built building with much more space. While our practice has grown, the small-town values we were built on remain at the heart of everything we do. We treat every client like family, building lasting relationships through honest communication, personalized recommendations, and care you can trust.
Life in northeastern Colorado is shaped by open spaces, working farms, close families, and neighbors who look out for one another. It’s a great place to raise a family and create a life with the animals we love, but the Colorado plains also come with unique risks for pets, including rattlesnake bites, ticks, heatstroke, and other outdoor hazards.
Our connection to the area is matched by our dedication to veterinary medicine. As a clinic, we are members of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA), allowing us to stay connected to the latest advancements and best practices in veterinary medicine.
We are proud of our longstanding history of serving pets and their people throughout Fort Morgan and beyond.
Unlike other veterinary clinics in the area, we offer after-hours care when unexpected health concerns can’t wait until the next business day. While we are not a dedicated 24-hour emergency hospital, we are often able to provide after-hours care for our established clients.
We also offer home visits when appropriate, making veterinary care more convenient for pets and their families.
Giving back is an important part of who we are. We provide discounted veterinary care for local animal shelters and rescue organizations, helping more pets receive the care they need.
We accept CareCredit for eligible veterinary expenses to help manage unexpected costs. Spanish-speaking team members are also available at select times.
From your puppy or kitten’s first visit through the senior years, we’re here to support them at every stage of life. Our approach to care combines preventive care, early detection, and treatment when health concerns arise, with recommendations based on your pet’s individual needs. We want you to feel informed about your options and confident in the decisions you make for your pet.
