At Fort Morgan Veterinary Clinic, we understand that farm animals and livestock are more than animals. They’re your livelihood, your investment, and an important part of your family. As a locally owned veterinary clinic, we provide experienced, affordable veterinary care for cattle and other large animals throughout Fort Morgan, Wiggins, Sterling, Brush, and the surrounding areas of northeastern Colorado.
Life here is built around agriculture. From cow-calf operations and dairies to local family farms, healthy livestock are essential to everyday life. We know every operation is different, which is why our philosophy on veterinary care is simple: There is no one-size-fits-all approach to large-animal care. We believe veterinary care should be knowledgeable, honest, and practical, with solutions that work in the real world.
Our team has the experience to understand your herd and your operation. We provide practical recommendations that fit your animals and the way you work. From preventive and reproductive care to treating illness and injury, we’re here to help keep your animals healthy, and productive.
Our roots run deep in the agricultural community. With decades of combined experience in herd health, our team knows their way around livestock and understands the needs of working farms and ranches.
Our doctors believe the best relationships are built over time through consistency, open communication, and a genuine understanding of the farms and ranches we work with.
One feature that sets us apart is our large animal haul-in facility. As the only veterinary clinic in the area with this capability, we provide livestock owners with a safe place to bring cattle and other large animals for diagnostics, medical treatment, and surgery.
We offer after-hours care when unexpected health concerns can’t wait until the next business day. While we are not a dedicated 24-hour emergency hospital, we are often able to provide after-hours care for our established clients.
Farm calls are available when appropriate, helping reduce stress on your animals and making veterinary care more convenient for your operation.
We also accept CareCredit for eligible veterinary expenses to help manage unexpected costs. Spanish-speaking team members are also available at select times to better serve our agricultural community.
For more than 68 years, Fort Morgan Veterinary Clinic has partnered with livestock producers, and animal owners throughout Fort Morgan, Wiggins, Sterling, Brush, and the surrounding communities As one of the area’s few mixed-animal veterinary practices, we provide comprehensive veterinary care for cattle, horses, and other large animals.
Our large animal facility is equipped with features such as SwissFloat motorized equine dentistry, hydraulic cattle chute equipment, protective horse stocks, treatment stalls, and a surgical suite, allowing us to safely and efficiently care for a wide range of medical and surgical needs.
Our veterinarians bring decades of hands-on experience, combining practical knowledge with modern diagnostics and evidence-based medicine to help keep your animals healthy and productive. From preventive herd health and reproductive services to diagnostics, surgery, and emergency care, we tailor our recommendations to the unique needs of your animals and your operation.
